Surgery

If the injury requires surgery, you can have the surgery care at following clinics by calling the appointment. The payment engagement will be given against the doctor´s text of surgical need. Bring your health insurance card (the KELA-card), insurance order number and your doctor’s recommendation for the surgery care. Extended insurance: deductible of surgery costs 10 %. Limited insurance: No cover for surgery costs in a private clinic.

NB: The insurance does not cover any doctor statement fees.
